Starman Tee
  • Starman Tee

David Robert Jones displayed musical talent early in life growing up in Bromley. After a multitude of musical failures and successes including the 1969 release of the infamous Space Oddity, Bowie popularised himself in the 1970s as Ziggy Stardust and continued to reinvent himself experiementing in a plethora of creative genres.

In 1977, Bowie retracted a statement he had made the previous year regarding Britain and faschism, blaming drugs. He was allowed to grow and eventually apologise for his comments, a luxury/human right seldom permitted today. Using this t-shirt as a tool, we look to challenge the 'cancel culture' which permeates through society nowadays. It's not about being right or wrong... it's about understanding, to infinity.
